Like them or not (I do, mostly), the Paranormal movies have a distinct directorial voice: They’re claustrophobic and incrementally scary, low on gore but high on suspense. And Peli, the creator of the sui generis Paranormal Activity franchise, is an interesting figure on the horror landscape.
CHERNOBYL DIARIE MOVIE
The combination of “final girl” slasher movie with contemporary political allegory could have made for a bracing genre scramble, a discount version of Joss Whedon’s Cabin in the Woods. I will soon not be here much longer I have been diagnosed with cancer. The Chernobyl Diaries, directed by Brad Parker from a story idea by Oren Peli (who also produced and co-wrote) had promise as a horror-movie idea: Six featherbrained American tourists hire a Ukrainian “extreme tourism” guide to take them on a day trip to the ruins of Pripyat, the workers’ town that was abandoned after the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
The Chernobyl disaster is truly a nuclear nightmare. I was sentenced to 10 years in prison, but got out in five. Thousands were either dead or sick because of my poor design. The court said that I was guilty and I myself can not say I'm completely innocent.
CHERNOBYL DIARIE TRIAL
I was put on trial along with a few others. Everything does not go without punishment and it was time to be punished. When that was done they built the “Sarcophagus” which was a concrete covering over the reactor and everything radioactive near it. The liquidators got most of the radioactive things and put it with the reactor. Thousands of liquidators were hired to clean up the area, and help people from the radiation.
CHERNOBYL DIARIE FULL
Towns once use to be full of people but are now ghost towns. Finally the Soviet Union went on and told everyone what really happened at chernobyl.
Hospitals were filling up faster than they handle, people were starting to worry. Everyone went on living their lives but more and more cases of cancer, radiation poisoning, etc were popping up everywhere. I thought we should tell everyone the truth about what happened, but the government wanted to hide it from the world. The reactor reaches 100 times full power, which broke the containment tubes, and caused the top shield of the reactor to blow up. Power in the reactor began to rise rapidly. They shut it done, and that is where it went wrong.
It was time for the second test on April 26 1:22 a.m we started by shutting down the first turbine. Me and my co-workers got a pay raise for getting the reactor done so fast. I finally got done, and ahead of schedule to. I’m Victor Bryukhanov the man who built reactor 4, I was very rushed making the reactor the Soviet Union made a deadline and I needed to get it done. We put the test off till later, but we left the reactor at 50%. We were going to start the test on reactor number 4, but the authorities in Kiev said that suddenly they had a demand for energy.
